Dissection course for nurses, OTs and physiotherapists

Demonstrated anatomy on fresh, non-formalin fixed hands and forearms, in small groups.

The course

A one-day course for nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in Denmark and Sweden who work with hand trauma or hand disorders. The course has run since 2003 as a regional collaboration between Danish and Swedish institutions.

Experienced hand surgeons demonstrate the anatomy of the upper extremity — from the shoulder region to the fingers, with focus on the forearm and hand — including surgical exposures and anatomical topography. Sessions may also include prepared pre-dissected models and demonstrations of surface anatomy.
